Our work

A look at recent Valley projects

A sample of signage we've designed, fabricated and installed for retail, hospitality, medical and industrial clients across the Greater Phoenix area.

About us

Two trades, one crew, no runaround

Tag Team Signs started with a simple idea: pair a designer and a fabricator so a project never gets lost in translation. What the design team draws, the shop can actually build — and the install crew can actually hang.

We're an Arizona-owned shop working out of Mesa, serving businesses from the East Valley to the West side. Every sign we ship is built for real desert conditions: 115° summers, monsoon wind loads and relentless UV.

  • In-house design, print, metal and electrical work
  • We pull the permits and handle city inspections
  • Licensed, bonded and fully insured for commercial work
  • Straightforward quotes — the number you approve is the number you pay

How it works

A clear path from "we need a sign" to "it's lit"

Consult & survey

We meet at your site, measure, photograph the storefront and review any landlord or HOA sign criteria.

Design & mock-up

You get to-scale renderings placed on a photo of your actual building, with material and lighting options.

Engineering & permits

We prepare stamped drawings where required and submit the permit package to your city or town.

Fabrication

Your sign is built in our Mesa shop — metal, faces, LEDs and finishing — with progress photos along the way.

Installation

Our licensed crew handles crane or bucket-truck install, electrical hook-up and final city inspection.

Service & warranty

We stand behind the workmanship and LEDs, and we're a phone call away for future repairs or re-branding.

In their words

What Valley business owners tell us

Feedback shared by recent commercial clients. Names withheld for privacy.

"They caught a landlord sign-criteria issue our last vendor missed entirely. The permit went through the first time and the install crew was in and out in a morning."

— Owner, retail boutique · Scottsdale

"We needed six vans wrapped before a location opened. The design matched our brand perfectly and every vehicle was ready on schedule."

— Operations manager, home-services company · Mesa

"Our monument sign has survived three monsoon seasons without a flicker. Quote was clear, no surprise charges, and they handled the city inspection for us."

— General manager, multi-tenant plaza · Chandler

Frequently asked questions

Do you handle sign permits?
Yes. Permitting is part of a standard project. We prepare the drawings, submit to your city or town, coordinate any engineering, and schedule the final inspection after install.
How long does a typical storefront sign take?
Once the design is approved, most illuminated storefront signs run about 4–8 weeks including permitting and fabrication. Banners, decals and window graphics are usually a few days. We'll give you a realistic timeline with your quote.
What areas do you serve?
We're based in Mesa and cover the Greater Phoenix area — including Tempe, Chandler, Gilbert, Scottsdale, Queen Creek, Phoenix and the West Valley. Ask us about projects outside that radius.
Will the sign hold up to Arizona sun and monsoons?
That's what we build for. We use UV-stable substrates and vinyls, laminate printed graphics, spec LEDs rated for high ambient temperatures, and engineer structures for local wind loads.
Can you repair or update a sign we already have?
Absolutely. We do LED retrofits, face and panel swaps, re-brands, storm-damage repair, and safe removal with wall patching — even if we didn't build the original sign.
How do I get a quote?
Send us the details through the contact form below, email us, or call the shop. For anything mounted to a building we'll usually schedule a quick site visit before quoting.
